FINALLY!!!

I had planned on a few different things to post about so this will be a mash-up of them. However one thing of note is of more importance than any other - after nearly 10 months of being unemployed I finally have found a new job! After 450 resumes, untold interviews, a website creation, learning Power BI & Snowflake, and 1 in-house presentation I finally have a new position. I’ll be more specific after I start, but I’ll just say that I’m very happy about it!

Now for a few other things! It is still summer after all, and I’ve got to enjoy some of it! Of course, this means FOOD! I found this recipe in my subscription to Cook’s Illustrated and someone was kind enough to post it (the mag requires a subscription to get recipes), so I’ll share that here: PEACH PIE! And of course a pic of the pie I recently made with some Ferjulian’s peaches (they’re local!), as that’s a must. I bought a $3 crimped cutter from Amazon to make it pretty!

Just to round things out a bit, I’m getting some comics cleaned and pressed, so if you need or have questions about it - hit me up! I’ll post more about that alone soon. Then those books will be off to CGC, and some will be available here! I’ve picked up a few books as well! OH - there’s a convention this weekend at Mohegan Sun, if anyone’s interested…
